Fire House 7 has been in operations since 1949 covering West Little River area of Miami Dade County and is a part of Battalion 5(stations 2,7.& 26). The territory has a high volume of calls and one of the busiest staions in the county. The station logo -"The Boxer" is representation of a boxer who shadow boxes in the medium of 79th st. and NW 22ave during rush hour. He has been doing this since the 70's and has become a fan of MDFR 7 personnel-"The Fighting 7"
